Patient Porter - Fixed Term Contract
Location: North Bristol
Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday with occasional weekends
Salary: Competitive
We're supporting a well established healthcare provider in North Bristol who are looking for a Patient Porter to join their team on a fixed-term basis.
Main Responsibilities
- Safely escort patients between reception and the theatre building (mainly for cataract surgery).
- Assist patients with mobility (wheelchairs, walking aids).
- Provide reassurance and emotional support, especially for anxious or visually impaired patients.
- Communicate clearly and maintain patient confidentiality and dignity.
- Help theatre team with moving clinical waste, medical stores, and other items.
- Liaise with staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
