An experienced Plant Fitter sought for an industrial manufacturer based in Avonmouth. The main responsibilities of the Plant Fitter are to carry out servicing, maintenance and repair of a range of plant and machinery as well as carrying out pre and post-delivery inspections.
The role will be suited to an individual who has experience working with plant and heavy machinery, carrying out maintenance and inspection activities and holds a valid driving licence.
The Role:
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on a variety of plant and heavy machinery.
- Carry out pre and post hire inspections of machinery
- Prepare equipment and machinery for hire
- Conduct all work in accordance with Health and Safety standards and policies.
- Report any faults and ensure all work activity is recorded
- Replace damaged components.
The Person:
- Plant and Machine maintenance experience
- Experience preparing equipment and machinery for hire
- Experience fabricating mechanical parts and components
- Able to follow mechanical and electrical drawings and diagrams
- Mechanical service background with experience working with heavy machinery
- Valid Driving Licence
