Project Management Business Partner (PMBP)

Location: Broughton, Chester (minimum 60% onsite)

Hours: 35 per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am-7pm)

Pay: 28.41/hr (PAYE) or 38.00/hr (Umbrella)

Security Clearance: BPSS+ (completed by Airbus Security)

Travel: Occasional travel within Europe

What You'll Do

  • Lead and Support Projects: Provide expert project management support for the A320 family's new development initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and successfully.
  • Collaborate Across Borders: Work closely with project leaders and a diverse network of stakeholders across all divisions, fostering strong relationships and clear communication.
  • Drive Project Excellence: Oversee project set-up, governance, integrated planning, and performance management-including schedule, cost, and resource control.
  • Facilitate Success: Prepare for project gates and reviews, manage interdependencies, and identify and follow up on risks and opportunities.
  • Champion Teamwork: Facilitate workshops, support team development, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Report and Communicate: Deliver clear, concise updates and performance reports to stakeholders at all levels.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Proven experience in project management within complex organisations.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to see both the big picture and the finer details.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Organised, with the ability to structure and drive projects forward.

Desirable:

  • Experience in the aerospace sector, especially with A320 or single-aisle aircraft.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and agile ways of working.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
