We are recruiting Warehouse Order Picker's for our client who are the world's largest provider of airline catering and in-flight services. Its primary business function is to prepare the bar/trolley carts for the aircraft with snacks, drinks (including alcoholic) and general duty free goods.Warehouse Order Picker - Involves downloading picks from computer system, use of hand scanner for order picking. Picking order and packing into trolley as you go. Accuracy is of paramount importance. Basic computer/keyboards skills required. It's a fast paced picking warehouse environment so you must be able to read, pick & pack at pace. Stock includes drinks, crisps, snack boxes, nuts, chocolate and some duty free stock . Task specific training will be given. You will also be required to search and seal trolliesFREE MEAL AND DRINK provided each shiftHOURS/SHIFTS You will be required to work 0600 – 1800 3on 3off shift patternplease note you will be required to work weekends and Bank Holidays as part of your rotaPAY RATESThe hourly rate of pay will be £14.37 per hourOn completion of 12wks work you will be eligible to transfer onto a season contract until 31/10/2024Requirements for roleBe able to hand pork, alcohol and tobaccoBe prepared to stand for long periods of timeBe prepared to work in a chilled areaPlease note that you be need to have a background check which involves Reference for a minimum period of 5 years prior to start date Criminal background check / DBSExperience of working within a warehouse/stores environment is necessary with picking & packing experience.
