Position: Fire Engineer

Are you an experienced Fire Engineer with hands-on expertise in fire alarms, emergency lighting, and fire safety systems?Ready to play a key role in delivering essential compliance and life safety services across the UK?

About the Role

We are working with a leading facilities management and compliance provider, now seeking motivated Fire Engineers to join their growing team. With nationwide projects, excellent progression opportunities, and a strong commitment to innovation and safety - this is your chance to develop your career in a thriving sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned maintenance and diagnostic work on fire alarm systems
  • Complete PPMs on fire alarms, emergency lights, and extinguishers
  • Undertake small works when required
  • Participate in out-of-hours call-out rota
  • Maintain safe working environments across all sites
  • Collaborate with site staff and management to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Support the growth of the Fire Solutions division through professionalism and technical excellence

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of BS5839-1:2017
  • Experience with fire alarms and associated equipment across different sectors
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Eligibility to pass BS7858 and enhanced DBS checks

Desirable: FIA modules, ECS/CSCS card (training provided if needed)
