We've been engaged by a forward-thinking company within the engineering and advanced technology sector to recruit a Health, Safety and Environment Advisor. With continued investment and development, they're looking for a self-motivated professional to lead on health, safety and environment matters and help shape best practice across the organisation.

Responsibilities of the Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will include:

  • Reviewing and maintaining risk assessments, policies, and documentation to ensure compliance and drive improvement
  • Leading incident investigations and working with teams to implement corrective actions
  • Coordinating and delivering health, safety, and environmental training, including toolbox talks and refresher sessions
  • Supporting the business in progressing towards ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification
  • Leading regular health, safety and environment inspections and committee meetings to promote continuous improvement and engagement

The ideal Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will have:

  • Proven experience in a health, safety and environment role within manufacturing, engineering, or a similar environment
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation, with a practical, hands-on approach
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work independently and influence at all levels
