About the role
We are looking for an analytical individual with a love for data, detail and building relationships to join us as a Recharging Analyst.
In this role you will take a deep dive into our client’s energy and meter data. You will validate utility invoices and meter readings and provide a solution focused approach to our clients creating various detailed reports as well as being responsible for creating recharges for tenants and processing change of tenancies.
Due to the specialism of working with meters and associated data, someone with experience either within a similar role or the industry in general would be preferred, however if you have an evidenced analytical and technical background and can utilise data to present solutions, we can provide training and development on what we do and how to complete the recharging elements of this role.
What you’ll actually do
- Provide an excellent client experience to internal and external stakeholders
- Complete invoice checks and tariff-based validation on all components of electricity, gas, water, heating and cooling invoices
- Generate batches of invoices, analysing the cost and consumption against previous periods, and looking for and reviewing anomalies
- Produce weekly batch files for clients to process payments
- Keep query and savings logs up to date, raising queries and resolving errors with suppliers when invoices are incorrect
- Process and following up on change of tenancies.
- Create and deliver monthly/scheduled recharge invoices for tenants
- Manage multiple sources of meter data for use within recharging
- Calculate targets and budgets and reviewing on-accounts where required
- Produce portfolio-wide reports and issuing to clients accordingly
- Review metering schematics in order to mobilise RICS standard recharging methodology for clients
We understand that candidates have varying experiences, and it is unlikely that all aspects of the role description will be an exact match. Please don’t be deterred if that is the case – we’d love to hear from you if you are passionate about our vision and have relevant experience.
