Were working with a much-loved events venue on the outskirts of Bristol to find an Deputy General Manager to support the day-to-day running of this busy, family-friendly site.

This is a hands-on leadership role where youll work closely with the management to ensure smooth operations across the attraction from guest experience and staff supervision to catering and events.

Youll be someone who thrives in a dynamic, customer-focused environment, with a real passion for hospitality and delivering memorable days.

As Deputy General Manager

  • Strong organisational skills, great communication, and a natural ability to motivate a team will be key to your success.
  • Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all departments
  • Lead by example on the floor, maintaining exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction
  • Manage, train and motivate the team to deliver consistently high performance
  • Oversee rotas, labour costs and stock control to ensure profitability targets are met
  • Take responsibility for opening and closing procedures, cash handling and financial reporting
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and staff development
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety, food hygiene and licensing regulations
