We are working with a fast growing casual dining brand who are looking for an experienced and driven General Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, maintaining high standards, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service and developing and retaining a high performing team.
Responsibilities:
Overseeing the restaurant's day-to-day operations, maintaining standards, ensuring everything is in good working order and providing support to the Head Chef.
Ensuring that customers receive high-quality service, including managing customer complaints and feedback, and ensuring that all staff members are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the restaurant's menu.
Managing the restaurant's staff, including hiring and training new employees, scheduling shifts, and ensuring that all staff members adhere to the restaurant's policies and procedures.
Monitoring the restaurant's financial performance working with Area Manager to hit targets.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and maintaining a safe working environment for all staff members.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager in a high-volume operation.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
Strong financial management skills and experience managing budgets.
A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
