Art and Design Teacher Position - Full or Part Time

Start Date: April 2025 - Ongoing

Are you a passionate and creative individual with a flair for inspiring young minds through the world of Art and Design? We are currently seeking a dedicated Art and Design Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Bristol.

This position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates, and we welcome applications from those interested in either a long-term role with full duties or as a supply teacher if they are the right fit.

The school offers cutting-edge facilities for Art and Design, including spacious studios equipped with the latest tools and technology, fostering an immersive and innovative learning experience for their students.

The rate of pay is from £140 per day for supply or up to £240 per day for a full duties role with planning and marking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Art and Design lessons that cater to a diverse range of students - teaching up to GCSE.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students on their artistic endeavours.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the Art and Design curriculum.
  • Participate in school events, exhibitions, and extracurricular activities related to the Arts.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Art and Design Education.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for fostering creativity in students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work either full-time or part-time.
  • Right to work in the UK
