Your Role Will Include:

• Providing 1:1 support tailored to a child’s EHCP targets

• Creating a safe, calm, and encouraging space where they can thrive

• Using positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies

• Adapting resources and approaches to meet individual needs

• Collaborating with SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals

• Being the steady, reliable presence that helps a child feel safe, seen, and valued

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a primary setting, ideally on a 1:1 basis

• A patient, compassionate nature with strong emotional awareness

• Flexibility and creativity in adapting learning strategies

• Confidence with positive behaviour management and de-escalation

• Enhanced Child-Only DBS (or willingness to apply)

• Two recent references from educational settings
