Your Role Will Include:

Providing 1:1 support tailored to a child’s EHCP targets
-
Creating a safe, calm, and encouraging space where they can thrive
-
Using positive behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
-
Adapting resources and approaches to meet individual needs
-
Collaborating with SENCOs, teachers, and external professionals
-
Being the steady, reliable presence that helps a child feel safe, seen, and valued

What We’re Looking For:

Experience supporting pupils with SEND in a primary setting, ideally on a 1:1 basis

A patient, compassionate nature with strong emotional awareness
-
Flexibility and creativity in adapting learning strategies
-
Confidence with positive behaviour management and de-escalation
-
Enhanced Child-Only DBS (or willingness to apply)

Two recent references from educational settings
