Full-Time Sociology Teacher position

Our Client is seeking a passionate Sociology Teacher who is eager to inspire students in the exploration of society, culture, and human behavior. The successful candidate will teach Sociology at KS4/5, helping students develop a deep understanding of sociological theories, concepts, and real-world issues.
The Sociology department prides itself on its supportive and collaborative approach, with teachers working together to deliver dynamic and thought-provoking lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Sociology at KS4 and KS5
- Develop engaging lessons that encourage critical thinking and discussion
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to the development of the Sociology curriculum
- Support students in achieving their academic goals
Experience and Qualifications:
- A degree in Sociology or a related field
- QTS or PGCE
- Experience teaching Sociology at KS4/5 (preferred, but ECTs are encouraged to apply)
