Our client, an innovative property services company, has an exciting opportunity for a People Development Partner to join their team!

The role:

  • To ensure the workforce is qualified to deliver services to customers in compliance with the Building Safety Act, developing skills matrices for each unit.
  • To support with Performance Management and career development.
  • To support engagement and PD interventions - IIP and Pulse Survey, driving awareness and response rates Note: This business partnering role and will require regular travel to business units, sites and training venues.
  • Identify, design and implement organisational and business unit people development solutions to ensure the business has the skills and capabilities to achieve its strategy.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for performance improvement (at an organisational, product and personal level) using a range of OD theories, tools and techniques.
  • Collaborate with managers to establish processes for product skills development, including just-in-time training, buddying, and upskilling initiatives.
  • Design and deliver behavioural skills training programmes.
  • Deliver coaching and mentoring development to build leadership and management capability across the organisation.
  • Facilitate team development sessions to enhance group performance and cohesion.
  • Support the creation and promotion of career pathways and development opportunities for employees.
  • Lead and contribute to project work, including researching, designing, and delivering development initiatives to meet business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in training and development practices to enhance organisational effectiveness.
  • Utilise funding and events from trade partnerships to provide timely and relevant training opportunities that align with operational priorities.
  • Provide accurate and up to date L&D information to stakeholders, utilising this data to inform future activity.
  • Work closely with the Personal Development team to deliver key organisational development projects, including culture, compliance, and leadership programmes.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of Personal Development interventions, ensuring they meet business objectives and deliver measurable impact.
  • Act as a culture champion - influencing and driving values and behaviours across the business.
  • Collaborate with People Business Partners on change / people projects.

Key skills/ experience:

  • Ability to work at pace and under pressure to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding and application of OD and learning and development practices, models, concepts and tools
  • Proven experience in an organisational development, learning and development, or HR role, with a strong focus on partnering with business areas.
  • Experience in successfully designing and delivering behavioural skills and team development training.
  • Coaching and mentoring experience, with the ability to develop leadership capabilities
  • IT literacy, confident in use of MS Office applications, and IT design software.
  • Strong project management skills; the ability to research, design, and implement OD initiatives.
