NEC Revenues Application Support Officer
Rate: £199.12 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: 3 months
Location: Mainly remote - with 1/2 days a month in Bristol
We're looking for an experienced Application Support Officer with strong NEC Revenues application experience to join a busy IT Operations team supporting critical services across the organisation. This role will see you providing expert support to the NEC Revenues system and its modules, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and assisting with new implementations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 2nd line support for the NEC Revenues application, ensuring stability, reliability, and compliance
- Support the implementation and configuration of new NEC modules including CA-SPA, Email Connect, and Integration Hub
- Manage and monitor batch processing routines, including those related to revenues recovery workflows
- Administer access controls, user provisioning, and permission audits
- Troubleshoot system issues and liaise with third-party vendors as needed
- Handle system updates, configuration changes, and patching
- Respond to change requests and contribute to testing and deployment processes
- Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders and end users
- Strong experience supporting NEC Revenues (Northgate) systems within a local government or public sector setting
- Confident in handling batch processing, revenue reconciliation tasks, and system integration
- Familiarity with NEC modules such as CA-SPA, Email Connect, and Integration Hub
- Proven problem-solving, incident management, and documentation skills
- Comfortable working in a user-focused support environment
