3rd Line Engineer

Bristol - Hybrid

We’re working with a well-established MSP in Bristol that’s in an exciting phase of expansion. They’re looking for a well-rounded 3rd Line Engineer to join their team and play a key role in supporting their growing client base.

As a 3rd Line Engineer, you’ll handle a variety of technical challenges, from complex troubleshooting to solution design across a diverse range of technologies and customers. You’ll work in a supportive environment that encourages growth and development, with a hybrid working setup that offers the best of both worlds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a senior point of escalation for the service desk and field engineering teams
  • Troubleshooting complex issues across Microsoft 365, Windows Server environments, networks, and more
  • Designing and implementing technical solutions to meet client needs
  • Building strong relationships with customers and ensuring excellent service delivery
  • Contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing to drive continuous improvement
  • Supporting project work, migrations, and upgrades when required

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a 3rd Line role within an MSP or similar environment
  • Split between BAU & Project work
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, and troubleshooting across a range of technologies
  • Confident stake holder management
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to take ownership of issues
