Are you a Systems Engineer/Systems Analyst or similar looking with FDM (Flight Data Monitoring) experience or similar looking to join a leading Military Flight Training School who are responsible for delivering the next generation training for the UK MOD.

Do you want a role that will be both challenging and rewarding, where you establish and operate FDM across a range of aircraft operated withing the United Kingdom Flight Training System and play a leading role as Technical Project Manager.

On offer is the exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer/Systems Analyst with experience in FDM (Flight Data Monitoring) to join a leading UK Military Flight Training School as a Technical Project Manager. Founded in the 00's, this organisation is responsible for designing and delivering bespoke flight training systems across the MOD.

In this role, the successful Technical Project Manager would be responsible for delivering early expertise and guidance that reduces risk and improves programme outcomes within the provision of the FDM service.

The ideal Technical Project Manager would have recent experience in the requirement capture, development and implementation of an FDM system. The musty be able to obtain SC and also happy to travel to Bristol when required.

The Role:

  • Deliver early expertise and guidance that reduces risk and improves programme outcomes within the provision of the FDM service.
  • Provide timely cost-effective solutions to technical problems.
  • Apply appropriate practices to manage FDM solutions and to resolve operational issues.
  • Establish credible relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supported by ongoing feedback.
  • Identify savings gained by identifying and delivering more cost-effective solutions.
  • Demonstrate Ascent Values & Competencies for Role, i.e. extent and frequency of positive examples.

The Person:

  • Flight Data Monitoring Systems Engineer/Systems Analyst or similar.
  • Work in Bristol at least fortnightly or able to travel there.
  • Obtain Security Clearance.
