PROJECT MANAGER - HYBRID - BRISTOL - £50,000 - £65,000 DOE

The Client

My client is a fast-growing software house based in the heart of Bristol, building smart, scalable digital solutions for clients across industries-from innovative start-ups to global brands. As they continue to expand, they are looking for a confident and capable Project Manager to join their delivery team and help them bring outstanding software projects to life.

The Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and delivering a range of software projects-on time, on budget, and to a high standard. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, testers, and client stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery from start to finish. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is hands-on, proactive, and loves the buzz of solving real-world problems through tech.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of software projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company goals.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk logs.
  • Coordinate internal teams and manage external stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Monitor and report on progress, flagging risks and issues early, and driving resolution.
  • Run Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
  • Ensure project scope is clearly defined and managed throughout the lifecycle.
  • Foster strong client relationships and serve as the main point of contact throughout the project.
  • Support handover from pre-sales into delivery, and from delivery into support.

What We are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, ideally in a software or digital agency environment.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies (certifications are a bonus).
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Confident communicator, able to manage both internal teams and client expectations.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.
  • Technical background or familiarity with software development concepts is advantageous.
