Business Analyst - Housing IT Programme
Contract | £450 per day (Inside IR35) | Hybrid (Bristol-based)
Salt is partnering with a Local Authority client to source an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of a major Housing IT and Transformation Programme.
This contract position will play a key role in implementing the NEC Housing platform, replacing multiple legacy systems. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and bring both strong analytical capabilities and deep domain knowledge in housing systems.
Key Details:- Rate: Up to £450/day
- IR35: Inside
- Location: Hybrid - remote working with on-site attendance in Bristol when required
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Until end of August 2025 (likely extension)
- Recent and demonstrable experience delivering Housing Management Systems (e.g. NEC Housing, Northgate, Civica, Aareon, Capita, Orchard)
- Recent experience within local government or social housing projects
- Strong background in business analysis techniques including requirements gathering, process mapping, and workshop facilitation
- Experience with system redesign, user testing, and supporting business case development
- Supporting the implementation of the NEC Housing system
- Working closely with Project Managers and service SMEs to analyse processes and gather requirements
- Mapping current ('as-is') and future ('to-be') states and contributing to transformation planning
- Producing clear, actionable documentation to inform decision-making and delivery
- Engaging with stakeholders across housing services to ensure smooth implementation and benefits realisation
