Role Summary
Our Client is seeking an Digital Manufacturing Engineer experienced in digital processes to play a crucial role in shaping large-scale production plans for the aircraft. This position offers the opportunity to innovate and optimize manufacturing workflows to ensure efficiency, quality, and integration across both aircraft and battery divisions.
Responsibilities
- Establish and implement digital manufacturing systems for battery and aircraft production.
- Develop digital production line layouts to facilitate equipment procurement decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective adoption of digital systems.
- Lead process optimization, cost reduction, and performance enhancement initiatives.
- Train users on digital systems for optimal manufacturing planning.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in 3DX (Delmia) or similar digital manufacturing systems.
- 3-5 years+ experience in a relevant field.
- Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with ERP, MRP, and MES tools.
- Experience in high-volume final assembly and lean manufacturing.
- Knowledge of new product introduction (NPI) processes.
