Senior Town Planning Consultant / Principal Town Planning ConsultantSalary: £35,000 - £55,000+Location: Bristol, UK (Hybrid)

Penguin Recruitment is excited to be supporting a leading consultancy that is shaping the future of sustainable development in the South West. Due to continued growth, they are looking for talented and ambitious Senior and Principal Town Planning Consultants to join their dynamic Planning and EIA Team.

This role offers the chance to work on a variety of exciting projects across sectors including energy, renewables, and infrastructure, and to make a real impact in the industry. You will have the opportunity to lead and manage major planning projects, engage with stakeholders, and provide strategic advice to clients.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading and managing major planning projects across sectors like renewables and infrastructure
  • Advising clients on planning strategies, feasibility studies, and environmental considerations
  • Preparing and submitting planning applications, environmental reviews, and other key documentation
  • Engaging with stakeholders including local authorities, communities, and regulators
  • Supporting business growth through contributions to bids, tenders, and client proposals

What we're looking for:

  • RTPI membership (or working towards it)
  • Strong planning expertise, ideally in a consultancy environment
  • Excellent knowledge of UK planning legislation, policy, and best practices
  • Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex projects
  • A passion for sustainability, energy, and environmental planning
