Public Law Lawyer- DWP- Hybrid role based from any of the Leeds/London OR Bristol offices- 3 days home/2 days in office- 6 month contract- �26.25ph PAYE/�36 PH Umbrella

Our client are looking for a number of Legal Advisors to join them supporting with general advisory work, working closely with regulators and other government departments, Bill work and drafting SIs as well as some high-profile litigation.

This successful candidates will be considered for a range of ad-visory posts across DWP areas of responsibility, ranging from Pensions, Universal Credit, Housing, Euro-pean and International Law, Disability, Health and Child Maintenance, benefit procedures and Data Pro-tection/Sharing and Fraud.

We are looking for qualified solicitor/barristers with excellent analytical and communication skills. We are looking for prior knowledge and experience of one or more of the following areas:

* general public law and good decision making by public bodies
* human rights
* judicial review
* data protection and information law
* the basics of EU law
* immigration law
* social security law, including statutory appeals related to welfare benefits
* for one of our teams knowledge of the legal issues surrounding delivery of Housing Benefit and the Housing Costs Element of Universal Credit would be desirable.
