Our client is looking for a qualified lawyer to help deliver specialist and insightful advice on securitisation transactions of various asset classes, including mortgage loans, credit cards, auto loans and trade receivables, from the structuring and development of transactions through to launch The successful candidate will be pivotal in providing legal advice on a wide range of securitisation and structured finance transactions.

Description

  • Have a sound understanding and broad experience of securitisations and the curiosity to be involved in other transactions in the debt capital markets space.
  • Be able to provide sound and commercial legal advice, and work well both as an individual and in groups, with the support of a friendly team who will help you develop your skills and knowledge in this area.
  • Be great at building trust and influencing others, be keen to grow internal and external networks to help achieve more together, and collaborate across L&S to support the wider business and our community as a whole.
  • Appreciate the chance to come up with innovative ideas, challenge where appropriate, build consensus and deputise for colleagues where appropriate.
  • Be passionate about your own development and relish the opportunities to up skill in areas which impact this business, including in matters of ESG, Data, Tech Advances and Digitisation.

Profile

A successful Securitisation Lawyer should have:

  • UK/IRE Qualified with a minimum of 4 years PQE
  • Proven experience in securitisation or structured finance within the Financial Services industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment in the UK Financial Services industry.
