What you'll do:
As a Contract Paralegal in Mortgage Enforcement, you will play a pivotal role in managing your own caseload of repossession files. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing necessary communications and legal documents, processing new matters using the case management system, and regularly updating clients on their case progress. You will also ensure prompt billing for all matters. This role provides an excellent opportunity to utilise your organisational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage your own caseload of repossession files, referring all legal aspects to the Team Supervisor or Team Manager.
- Prepare communications and legal documents as required.
- Process new matters using the case management system.
- Use the case management system to action workflow entries on a daily basis and from the Schedule for individual files.
- Regularly update clients on the progress of matters.
- Ensure that all matters are billed promptly.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Contract Paralegal role will bring at least 6 months of prior paralegal experience, coupled with administrative skills and telephone handling expertise. Your natural empathy towards clients, combined with your excellent telephone manner, will enable you to build strong relationships. Your proactivity, attention to detail, and superior organisational skills will be key in managing your workload effectively.
