Employment Paralegal - Legal 500

Salary: 25-32,000 DOE

Location: Bristol - Hybrid / Remote



OVERVIEW

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established Legal 500 firm in Bristol as an Employment Paralegal. The position offers a challenging and rewarding environment for professionals passionate about employment law. The purpose of the role is to run a caseload of Employment Tribunal files and support the existing Employment team with non-contentious work.



RESPONSIBILITIES

* Managing cases of claimant tribunal litigation, and the potential to assist on respondent litigation

* Manage a varied and interesting case load, with high quality work including discrimination and protected disclosure cases

* Advising clients on potential Employment Tribunal claims

* Running a case load of Employment Tribunal claims, including drafting pleadings, drafting witness statements, negotiating settlements, and instructing counsel or advocates as necessary



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

* Knowledge of employment law and legal experience in a law firm

* The ability to run a caseload

* The ability to work to strict deadlines

* The ability to work as part of a team

* Positive attitude
