A well-established law firm is seeking a proactive and highly organised Legal Assistant to join their busy Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury team. This is a hands-on position supporting multiple fee earners with both legal and administrative tasks, playing a key role in the smooth operation of the department.

This is a great opportunity for someone with prior experience in legal administration within a clinical negligence setting, looking to contribute to a collaborative and professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support fee earners with clinical negligence and personal injury cases, including drafting correspondence and preparing legal documentation
  • Liaise with clients, medical professionals, and third parties under supervision
  • Organise and manage incoming medical records in both physical and digital formats
  • Handle departmental post, including scanning, distribution, and dispatch
  • Perform a range of administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, and data entry

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a legal administrative role within clinical negligence (essential)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
  • Confident with Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • A team-player mindset and a professional, proactive approach
