Working independently representing us at Customer premises, this role supports the field service team. The role is managed from our Andover HQ Service centre and covers installation, service, repair, and calibration of our precision measuring equipment.  

This is a field-based role focusing mainly on our customer base in the Midlands, although travel further afield maybe required as well as occasional overnight stays.  

Responsibilities 

Visit customer sites to: 

  • Install Mitutoyo precision measuring equipment. 

  • Complete service and calibration work. 

  • Undertake trouble shooting including fault-finding, diagnosis and rectification.  

Key requirements 

  • Minimum of HNC/BTEC or equivalent in an engineering discipline, or relevant industry experience. 

  • Effective communicator, organisation skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 

  • Good IT skills. 

  • Full valid driving license.  

Desirable requirements 

  • Experience of fault finding on mechanical/electrical systems. 

  • Strong time management skills. 

  • Have good interpersonal skills.
