Role Overview

A well-established, independent lift company is seeking a qualified NVQ Level 3 Lift Engineer to join its service and callout team. The successful candidate will carry out routine maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and ensure the safe and efficient operation of lift systems across commercial and residential sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled servicing of passenger and goods lifts

  • Respond to breakdowns and callouts across the region

  • Diagnose and repair faults quickly and effectively

  • Maintain accurate records using digital service tools

  • Participate in the on-call rota, including evenings/weekends

  • Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams

  • Adhere to Health & Safety, LOLER, and company standards

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent qualification)

  • Proven experience in lift maintenance and fault-finding

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Ability to work independently across multiple sites

  • Strong awareness of H&S and compliance regulations

  • Willingness to undergo enhanced DBS check (if site required)
