Role: Interim Procurement Manager
Location: South West
Rate: £450 - £500
Castlefield are currently recruiting an interim Procurement Manager to join a Public Sector organisation in Manchester. The role is 2 day p/w in the office and will be for an initial 6 - 9 month period.
The Role:
- Manage large complex pieces of procurement including possible bespoke framework contract but not via a third party framework.
- Manage end-to-end procurement projects and support on wider strategic initiatives
- Negotiate contracts and make savings
- Provide procurement advice and guidance to key stakeholders
- Build relationships with suppliers
- Procurement and commercial analysis
The Person:
- Public Sector procurement experience
- PA2023 knowledge
- Sound understanding of Public Sector procurement legislation
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
