Rate: £450 - £500

Castlefield are currently recruiting an interim Procurement Manager to join a Public Sector organisation in Manchester. The role is 2 day p/w in the office and will be for an initial 6 - 9 month period.

The Role:

  • Manage large complex pieces of procurement including possible bespoke framework contract but not via a third party framework.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement projects and support on wider strategic initiatives
  • Negotiate contracts and make savings
  • Provide procurement advice and guidance to key stakeholders
  • Build relationships with suppliers
  • Procurement and commercial analysis

The Person:

  • Public Sector procurement experience
  • PA2023 knowledge
  • Sound understanding of Public Sector procurement legislation
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
