A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transport Coordinator to join a UK known FMCG manufacturer in the Bristol Area!
With no day ever being the same the Transport Coordinator role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation!
Role & Responsibilities:
- Overseeing all transport across the site, ensuring deliveries are on time and make sure any delays are managed and communicated clearly
- Working alongside the planning team to plan drivers routes and improve efficiencies and communication
- Work closely with key stakeholders including suppliers, drivers and customers
- Cover Transport Planners when needed - planning deliveries and collections
- Adhering to all legalisations - UFAS
- Increase efficiencies and decrease down times
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a transport coordinator role
- Strong SAP knowledge and experience
- CPC Management course (highly desirable)
- Strong communicator
