We are looking to recruit a new late shift Supervisor/router for our expanding business at our Bristol Avonmouth depot. We are currently running out of four depots with the review to open depot five in 2027.Reporting to the late shift Manager you’ll be responsible for the efficient running of the warehouse, insuring your team are picking orders correctly & loading them onto the vehicles ready for next day delivery. This is a role for fast thinkers and through our training you’ll be giving full in-depth training on all aspects of the shift/role including routing the vehicles ensuring all drops are made on time and in full. To succeed as a late shift Supervisor, you’ll be someone who can put people at the heart of everything you do, building relationships with your team and acting quickly to help our customers receive their orders on-time and in full. This is a hands-on job for people who enjoy tackling big challenges as part of a team who like to stay active and who love to see their work make a visible difference.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Motivating your team of warehouse operatives.
  • Route Planning
  • Ensuring all orders are picked
  • Ensuring all vehicles are loaded in an efficient order
  • Management of resource ensuring cover for loading and replenishment on shift.
  • Health & Safety compliance.
  • Staff one to one’s and PDR forms
  • Continual review of operations to explore method improvement projects.

Requirements for the role:

Our ideal candidate will have worked in a warehouse environment before in a supervisor role.

  • Ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience of warehousing and logistics and a minimum of 3 years in a team leader/supervisor role.
  • Recognised Health & Safety qualification would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Proven man management experience
  • Excellent communicator
  • Enthusiastic and motivated individual who thrives working in a fast paced and busy environment.
