Role Overview

As a Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient scheduling of production activities. You’ll work closely with operations, logistics, and sales teams to align production plans with customer demand, stock levels, and operational capacity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain daily and weekly production schedules
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure material availability
  • Liaise with production teams to ensure plans are achievable and aligned with capacity
  • Adjust schedules in response to changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, or operational issues
  • Analyse production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure alignment and timely delivery
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a planning or scheduling role, ideally within manufacturing or food production
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and planning software
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
