Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer
Location: Bristol
Salary: Upto £40,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (39 hours/week)
Shift: Day shift
About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and hands-on Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Bristol. This role involves both planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on a wide range of industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities for the electrical maintenace engineer:
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in a timely and safe manner
- Work with control gear, PLC systems, and motor drives (AC & DC)
- Carry out electrical installation and commissioning tasks
- Assist with hydraulic and pneumatic systems as needed
- Ensure all work is completed in line with Health & Safety regulations
Requirements for the electrical maintenance engineer:
- Strong electrical background with experience in industrial maintenance
- Sound knowledge of 3-phase power systems
- Experience with PLCs, control panels, and motor drive systems
- Electrical installation experience essential
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatic is an advantage
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Ideally based in or near Bristol
