As a Engineering Manager / Workshop Manager will be responsible for overseeing projects and production operations, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery. You'll manage equipment, materials, compliance, documentation, and daily site activities, supervising a teams while working closely with the General Manager. This role is based is Avonmouth, with some travel required.

Responsibilities of Engineering Manager / Workshop Manager

Oversee projects and supervise production staff and subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, and punctuality.

Manage all aspects of projects from quotation through to completion, maintaining timelines and budgets.

Achieve outstanding customer satisfaction and foster long-term client relationships.

Support the General Manager in driving sales and developing new business opportunities.

Monitor and procure consumables, equipment, and materials to prevent production delays.

Communicate effectively with customers to align project goals and expectations.

Ensure high standards of work practises across all work areas.

Visit client sites to carry out surveys and assist with project quotations.

Prepare, implement, and monitor safety and quality documentation, ensuring team compliance.


Requirements Engineering Manager / Workshop Manager

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and clear approach.

IOSH Managing Safely certification (preferred).

Experience within marine, welding or civil engineering.

Able to travel as required.

Hold a Full UK driving licence.

Have the full rights to work within the UK

Strong organisational and leadership skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Proven management experience with the ability to motivate and lead teams.

Must be able to Travel and work in Avonmouth
