ďż˝? Medical Device Manufacturing | ?? Full-Time

Be at the Heart of Change. Architect the Future.

I'm looking for an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to lead a once-in-a-generation transformation at the core of our UK operations.

This unique role starts with 4-5 months of project-based leadership—overseeing the setup and relocation to a brand-new, purpose-built facility. Once live, you’ll take full ownership of day-to-day operations, managing both people and machines in a system you helped design.

This is your chance to make a lasting impact—not only on our operations but on healthcare outcomes worldwide.

What You’ll Do

?? Phase 1 - Project Leadership

  • Build a deep understanding of the company, ways of working (today and into the future), our culture, products and routes to market.
  • Lead the transition from our existing site to a new state-of-the-art facility.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners in a role initially akin to a full-time PMO.
  • Support in business recruitment needs to achieve the necessary staffing levels to achieve unhindered, full production at the new facility.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and validation of new production lines including a phased transition towards automation.
  • Support the process of WMS system reconfiguration/finance system integration at the new facility.

?? Phase 2 - People & Operations Management

  • Manage a close-knit team of ~35, including 2 Supervisors and 1 Engineer.
  • Run day-to-day manufacturing, packing, warehouse, and dispatch operations.
  • Take ownership of production targets, KPI monitoring and efficiency improvement programs.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to optimise material and component cost benefit opportunities, deleverage supply chain risk, review and potentially implement aspects of supply-chain insourcing.
  • Integrate legacy and cutting-edge automated systems.
  • Drive KPIs across cost, quality, safety, efficiency, and waste.

What You Bring

? Proven experience in operations/project management within regulated manufacturing.

? Hands-on knowledge of facility setup and production line implementation.

? Strong leadership across production, logistics, and packaging teams.

? Confident communication and stakeholder management skills.

? Results-driven mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

? Ideally degree in Engineering or engineering related field.

? A MedTech, Pharma or Food production background would be a bonus but is not essential.

Why Join?

? Impact - You’ll shape the future of our manufacturing strategy.

?? Culture That Attracts Talent - The Senior Leadership Team is deeply engaged, open, and committed to supporting innovation, inclusion, and growth. It’s no accident that recent hires consistently cite the culture as a key reason they joined—and stayed.

?? Work-life balance - Enjoy a rare days-only, Mon-Fri schedule.

?? Growth & Remuneration - A highly competitive salary, a range of company benefits, great career progression opportunities, a sense of personal achievement in working for a business that has a truly life-changing impact for the patients it serves.

Ready to lead from the front and deliver something truly transformational?
