Female Support Worker - Bristol
Location: Bristol Salary:


  • 14.00 per hour (weekdays)

  • 15.50 per hour (weekends)

  • 137.28 per sleep shift (weekdays)

  • 142.68 per sleep shift (weekends) Hours: Flexible shifts available Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence required


We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Female Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to an individual in Bristol. This role is suited to someone who is passionate about active rehabilitation and enabling individuals to reach their full potential.
Essential Requirements:


  • NVQ (or equivalent) in care - recent training is an advantage

  • Experience in caring for people with physical and/or learning disabilities

  • A positive interest in active rehabilitation

  • Female applicants only (Due to the occupational nature of the role, compliant with Paragraph 1, Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010)

  • Full UK driving licence, confident in driving the client's car

  • Strong communication skills, especially with the client, her family, and professionals

  • DBS on the update service or willingness to complete an enhanced DBS (initial DBS check paid for by us)


Desirable Skills & Experience:


  • Experience in managing others and organising staff rotas

  • Recent training in areas such as:

    • Equality, diversity and inclusion

    • Health & safety at work

    • Control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH)

    • Fire safety awareness

    • Infection control

    • Food hygiene

    • Manual handling

    • First aid/basic life support (including CPR)

    • Safeguarding vulnerable adults & children

    • Conflict management & lone working
