An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join a prestigious project at Hinkley Point C, the UK's first new-build nuclear power station in a generation. This role plays a key part in supporting the UK's Net Zero targets and requires a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and quality.
Benefits of a Mechanical Project Engineer:

Key Responsibilities of a Mechanical Project Engineer:
- Plan, manage, and oversee mechanical project operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and profitability.
- Ensure all mechanical works comply with relevant standards, specifications, and legislation.
- Maintain high health and safety standards on-site, addressing any issues promptly.
- Provide clear communication, guidance, and supervision to the mechanical team.
Skills Required for a Mechanical Project Engineer:
- Technical competence and strong analytical ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership and team coordination capabilities
- Effective planning and problem-solving skills
Preferable but not essential:
- ONC/HNC/ NVQ L3/L4 Building Services.
- Engineering Degree
