The Assembly Technician/ Fabricator / Production Technician / Manufacturing Technician /Assembly Engineer / Assembly Operative / Mechanical Technician / Pipework Fabricator will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, inspection and testing for fluid handling assemblies as per customer requirements and engineering drawings.
The successful Assembly Technician will have a hands-on background in mechanical assembly and production, ideally within fluid handling, fluid power or fluid systems, including valves, fittings, piping, regulators, hoses, filters, instrumentation, pipework or similar. Experience using tube & pipe bending / cutting machinery is beneficial.
Package
Up to £38,000 depending on experience plus overtime
26 days holiday plus bank holidays

39 hours a week, 1pm finish on Fridays
Responsibilities
Carry out the mechanical assembly of fluid handling assemblies
Working to technical engineering drawings and P&IDs
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Fabricating, assembling, inspecting and testing of fluid handling assemblies
Build and assembles a panel, pressure test a panel, make sure all the valves are open.
Operate and program tube-cutting and pipe bending / tube bending machines.
Based in Bradley Stoke, Bristol
Requirements
Proven hands on engineering experience in assembly, engineering, fabrication or manufacturing experience as a Assembly Technician/ Fabricator / Production Technician / Manufacturing Technician / Assembly Engineer /Fitter / Assembly Operative / Mechanical Technician / Pipework Fabricator or similar
Exposure within fluid handling, fluid power, fluid systems, including valves, fittings, piping, regulators, hoses, filters, instrumentation, pipework or similar.
Knowledge of welding techniques, Mig or Tig beneficial
Commutable to Bradley Stoke, Bristol.
Full UK Driving License.
