Curtain Fitter / Blind Fitter
£32,000 Basic + (40,000 to £50,000 with Overtime)

South Territory - Covering the M4 Corridor
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Curtain Fitter & Blind Fitter on behalf of a large multi dicipline commercial restoration business. They require an experienced Full Time Curtain & Blind Fitter for an immediate start to cover the South Territory which emcompasses the M4 Motorway Corridor, along the South of the UK. The position would also suit a Maintenance Technician, Carpenter, Joiner, Builder, Installer, Handy Person, Upholsterer or general Building and Maintenance Installer with experience of installing curtains and blinds (A requirement).
The successful Curtain & Blind Fitter will be responsible for fitting and errecting Curtain, Blinds, Track and Pole systems in residential homes, provided by the company. You will also be responsible for route planning and liaising with customers to provide a high level of customer service at all times.
The role offers almost unlimited overtime to earn above and beyond your basic salary with fitters earning on average £40,000 to £50,000
The role would suit an experienced Curtain Fitter, Maintenance Technician, Carpenter, Builder, Upholsterer, Joiner or other tradesperson, looking to take up this type of work on a full time basis.
Curtain Fitter Responsibilities:
- To fit curtain/curtain poles/track systems and blinds in customers homes
- Be responsible for your Van and stock at all times to make sure that you never arrive on site without the correct materials.
- The role could consist of working away from home on the odd occasion if so required. (Accommodation and overtime provided)
- Due to the nature of the work this is unavoidable but fair notice will be given along with hotels and food all paid for by the company.
CURTAIN FITTER EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
- Have previous experience installing Curtains, Blinds, Tracks and Poles
- Have some basic carpentry skills in order to build and fit Pelmet boxes & boards.
- Must have own vehicle to travel to work locations (Mileage offered)
- Have a friendly and out-going personality with good communication skills
- Have good self-management and keep on-top of client documentation and paperwork
