About us
Our client designs and manufacture multilingual commentary systems for tour vehicles — combining custom electronics, enclosures, cabling, and software. With over 20 years in the industry, our equipment is used around the world to deliver high-quality audio experiences.
The role
We’re looking for a practical, hands-on Electronics Technician to join our small, friendly team. The job involves repairing and assembling our in-house systems — a mix of custom PCs, control boards, and wiring assemblies.
You’ll work on everything from fault-finding and soldering to building complete systems ready for delivery. Occasionally, you may also help with installations or maintenance visits, including some overseas travel.
What you’ll do
- Diagnose and repair electronic and PC-based systems.
- Carry out component-level repairs and soldering where required.
- Assemble computers, wiring looms, and enclosures for production builds.
- Load firmware onto boards using embedded programming tools (no coding required).
- Follow build and test procedures to maintain high quality.
- Occasionally travel for installations or maintenance support.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in electronics assembly, repair, or computer hardware.
- Comfortable using hand tools and soldering equipment.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and follow build instructions.
- Familiarity with PC hardware (Linux/Ubuntu knowledge a bonus).
- Good attention to detail and ability to work well in a small team.
- Valid passport (occasional travel required).
Nice to have
- Experience in low-volume manufacturing or test environments.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Interest in electronics and embedded systems.
If you enjoy hands-on work, varied tasks, and being part of a small, experienced team that designs and builds its own products, we’d love to hear from you.
