Office Manager | Hybrid – Bristol | £40,000 – £50,000 | Must be eligible for DV clearance

At TwinStream, we bring deep technical expertise to solve complex, cross-domain problems for government organisations. Founded in 2019 by engineers with years of hands-on experience, we’ve grown into a trusted partner delivering innovative, secure, cloud-native solutions.

We’re now looking for an Office Manager to join our team in Bristol—someone who is highly organised, proactive, and adaptable, with the drive to take ownership of both office operations and security responsibilities. This is an exciting hybrid role with real responsibility and variety.

The Office Manager role:

You’ll oversee the smooth running of our Aztec West office, creating a professional and efficient workplace for our people. Alongside this, you’ll have the opportunity to support (or upskill into) the Security Controller role—helping us maintain the highest standards of compliance with government protective security requirements.

This is more than a traditional office management role: it’s a chance to be the linchpin of our operations, blending facilities, health & safety, supplier management, and security into a role that directly contributes to the success of the business.

Why join us?

  • Competitive salary (£40,000–£50,000)
  • 8% employer pension contribution
  • Private medical healthcare (including dental & optical for family)
  • Learning & development – take charge of your growth with employer support
  • Flexible working culture
  • EV leasing scheme via salary sacrifice
  • Cycle-to-work scheme
  • 28 days’ holiday + bank holidays
  • Regular team events (quarterly gatherings, Christmas & summer parties)
  • Life assurance for peace of mind

Key responsibilities of the Office Manager:

Office & Facilities Management

  • Keep daily operations running smoothly, from suppliers to workspace setup.
  • Be the go-to contact for facilities, landlord liaison, and building management.
  • Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, office supplies, meeting rooms, post/couriers, and small events.

Health & Safety

  • Lead on H&S compliance including risk assessments, inductions, and drills.
  • Maintain policies, training records, accident/near-miss logs, and contractor permits.
  • Ensure statutory compliance (fire, electrical, water, etc.) and first aid/fire warden coverage.

Security Controller Support (training provided)

  • Oversee physical security: access control, CCTV, alarms, secure materials.
  • Keep policies, training, and risk assessments up to date.

Supplier & Budget Management

  • Own supplier contracts (cleaning, security, M&E, consumables).
  • Manage POs, invoices, and budgets—finding efficiencies without compromising service.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in office or facilities management.
  • Highly organised with excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion.
  • Within commuting distance of Aztec West and available Mon–Fri.
  • Eligible for DV clearance (existing clearance a bonus).
  • Basic knowledge of H&S practices (risk assessments, incident logging, DSE).
  • Confidence (or willingness to train) in managing access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
