Occupational Therapist - Full-Time, Permanent job vacancy in Bradley Stoke, Gloucestershire.

Location:Conveniently commutable from towns such as Almondsbury, Thornbury, Patchway, Severn Beach and Filton.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in assessing and providing tailored interventions for children and young people with complex needs. Working autonomously, youll manage a varied caseload, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans. Your role will involve:
  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children with diverse needs, including autism, sensory issues, and attachment difficulties.
  • Interpreting assessment results to create and deliver effective intervention plans.
  • Supporting childrens development through personalized care plans, focusing on daily living activities, self-care, productivity, and leisure.
  • Ensuring all occupational therapy practices are evidence-based and aligned with clinical governance and risk management standards.

Essential Criteria:
  • A Degree in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC Registration.
  • Membership with RCOT.
  • Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist, ideally with children.
  • Proficiency in various clinical approaches, especially those related to Autism, sensory needs, and attachment disorders.
  • Skilled in implementing sensory strategies.
