An established engineering business specialising in fluid transfer systems is currently looking to recruit an experienced Fabricator’s to join their manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role within a stable, growing organisation that works to high quality and safety standards.

You will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, inspecting, and testing precision fluid system assemblies, working from P&IDs, CAD drawings, and work instructions. The role suits someone with strong attention to detail, experience working to tight tolerances, and a proactive approach to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities – Fabricator

  • Fabricate and assemble fluid transfer system assemblies to customer specifications
  • Operate and program CNC tube-cutting machinery
  • Set up and operate tube-bending equipment to tight tolerances
  • Read and interpret P&IDs, 2D/3D CAD drawings, and BOMs
  • Carry out pressure, functional, and leak testing
  • Complete in-process and final inspections
  • Record work completed using internal ERP/MRP systems
  • Identify and report non-conformances and quality issues
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping (5S)

Qualifications & Requirements -Fabricator

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or engineering environment
  • Strong ability to read and work from technical drawings and P&IDs
  • Experience working to tight tolerances on complex assemblies
  • Good understanding of quality and safety procedures
  • Confident using basic IT systems
  • ISO 9001 or regulated manufacturing environment experience
  • Lean manufacturing / 5S knowledge
