This Primary School in the BS10 is looking for a Supply Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.

The Role

The ideal supply teacher covers classes when the regular teacher is absent, delivering lessons, managing behaviour, and ensuring learning continues smoothly. You will be expected to adapt quickly to different classrooms and uphold school policies, playing a key role in maintaining consistency and support for pupils.

You will be required to to work on a full time basis until the end of the academic year with the potential to continue in September.

You will be expected to:

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1, or KS2

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively

  • Create a positive and safe learning environment

  • Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and routines

  • Mark work and leave feedback for the class teacher

  • Follow the school’s policies and safeguarding procedures

  • Support the learning and well-being of all pupils

  • Communicate professionally with staff and pupils
