This School in the BS11 area is looking for a Year 5 Primary Teacher to join their team at the beginning of September 2025.

The Role

You will be joining a primary school as a year 6 teacher working alongside another 3 teachers, planning and delivering creative and enthusiastic lessons. Delivering lessons in English, Maths, and Science in line with the national curriculum. Preparing students for end-of-Key Stage 2 assessments, often involving targeted revision and exam strategies. Recording results and reporting to school leadership and parents, especially for SATs and transition to secondary school. Creating lesson plans, resources, and adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN pupils.

You will be required to:

  • Be creative and work collaboratively with other KS2 teachers to plan fun lessons.
  • Have a clear understanding of the KS2 framework and expectations.
  • Have a range of positive behaviour management skills.
  • Plan activities inside and outside the classroom.
  • Be enthusiastic to develop the children socially and physically and intellectually.
