Plant Supervisor - Avonmouth | £39,899 + Company Vehicle

Are you a driven and experienced supervisor with a passion for operations, logistics, and people management? Our client is looking for a dynamic Plant Supervisor to join their busy Avonmouth site. If you're a natural problem-solver with strong communication skills and thrive under pressure, this could be the role for you.

Working closely with the Plant Manager, you'll take ownership of daily operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing raw material orders and stock levels

• Overseeing shift handovers and task completion

• Supporting transport planning and coordinating with Head Office

• Scheduling shifts and managing holiday cover

• Enforcing Health & Safety protocols across the site

• Addressing driver-related issues (tachographs, hours, regulations)

• Leading and supervising plant operatives in their daily duties

We’re after a proactive and hands-on leader who can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous supervisory experience in a plant, warehouse, or manufacturing setting

• Exceptional time and task management skills

• A confident communicator with strong problem-solving abilities

• Solid understanding of Health & Safety standards and compliance

• Experience with transport logistics and driver management

• A motivational leadership style with a keen eye for detail

• Flexibility to provide weekend emergency support if required

• A full UK driving license

• Competitive salary: £39,899

• Monday to Friday schedule, with occasional weekend cover
