Great opportunity has come up in Bristol for an experienced intermediate-level Project Manager to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, supporting the successful delivery of residential and land remediation projects across the South West.

 

The Role

You’ll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects from inception to completion, working within a collaborative consultancy environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing programmes, budgets, and client relationships, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage residential and remediation projects through all stages of the project lifecycle
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including programmes, risk registers, and reports
  • Coordinate design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives
  • Oversee cost management, procurement, and change control processes
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and local authorities
  • Contribute to business development through professional engagement and project delivery excellence

 

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Degree-qualified in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Ideally working towards, or already holding, APM, RICS, or CIOB accreditation
  • Proven experience delivering residential or remediation projects, ideally within a consultancy or client-side environment
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, contract administration (NEC/JCT), and project controls
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work independently when required
