Lead the delivery of key water infrastructure projects.
Take charge of major water infrastructure projects in the Wessex Water region for a tier one contractor, overseeing all aspects of project delivery from conception through to completion. As a Project Manager, you'll ensure projects are completed on scope, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. What you'll be doing.
聽
路Overseeing the delivery of water infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on scope, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
路Managing the design, engineering, construction, commercial, and handover phases of the projects.
路Implementing risk management and value engineering processes to identify and mitigate risks while capitalising on cost-saving opportunities.
路Providing clear direction, motivation, and leadership to project teams, consultants, and contractors.
路Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
路Preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, presenting updates to key customers and stakeholders.
路Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, proactively addressing needs and ensuring satisfaction.
路Implementing systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and manage project risk.
路Championing sustainability, service excellence, and best practice across project delivery.
路Managing suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring strong performance, good relationships, and timely project completion.
路Reviewing and approving project management plans, health and safety plans, and method statements.
路Supporting business planning, bid development, and identifying growth opportunities within the region.
路Coaching and developing project staff, fostering a high-performing, motivated team.
What you'll bring.

路Experience as a Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex construction or infrastructure projects, ideally within the water sector.
路Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
路Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
路Ability to manage multiple projects to high standards of compliance, quality, and client satisfaction.
路Sound knowledge of the construction industry, particularly in water infrastructure.
路Proven ability to meet specifications, standards, and targets in a regulated environment.
路Strong commercial acumen with experience in managing budgets, forecasting, and reporting.
路Excellent negotiation, diplomacy, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
