The Job:

On behalf of client we are seeking a Temporary Content Editor & Proof Reader to join them on an initial 3 month temporary basis to work in their offices in South Bristol.

In this role, you will use their bespoke Product Information Management (PIM) tools to create and maintain their product database. You’ll own the creation of new items, ensure the accuracy of existing data, source and verify product specifications, and create high-quality product imagery that aligns with their image standards. Your work will be central to the delivery of a seamless and accurate digital experience for clients and customers

Responsibilities will include:

• Own the creation and maintenance of master data for all items within their PIM tools.

• Source, verify, and update product specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Maintain and improve data consistency across all records in the system.

• Create new product profiles in response to client or business needs.

• Develop high-quality product imagery that adheres to image standards and guidelines.

• Monitor and manage workflows to ensure tasks are completed on time and to specification.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on product data needs and standards.

• Identify and implement improvements to tools, workflows, and data accuracy processes.

• Take full ownership of master data creation and maintenance.

• Ensure all items and associated data meet quality and accuracy standards.

• Maintain a clear and up-to-date record of all product data in the system.

• Manage data updates in response to client requests, market changes, or new releases.

• Ensure product specifications are accurate and meet both client and internal requirements.

• Verify the quality and consistency of product imagery.

• Ensure all work meets core KPI’s for accuracy

The Person:

Our client is looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

Good grasp of spelling and grammar with a clear writing style with good attention to detail

Ability to explain complex processes clearly and without ambiguity

Image and text editing familiarity (e.g. Photoshop, Fireworks, etc)

Ideally an English, Creative Writing, Journalism Graduate or similar and have some writing experience

Confident pro-active approach - able to propose & crucially follow through, technically capable, curious independent thinker- with a passion for Technology and Gadgets

Adept in problem solving & resolution, Team player with a 'can-do’ attitude, Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Diligence, attention to detail and the mindset of taking pride in your work and must be self-motivated
