We are looking for a Residential Development Partner with a proven track record in the Living Sector, including house-building, build to rent, strategic land, and affordable housing. This role offers the opportunity to drive growth and enhance our national profile while contributing to the strategic vision of Womble Bond Dickinson.

Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • You will handle high-value development and investment projects, including managing conditional and unconditional contracts/transfers, option agreements, promotion agreements, development funding agreements, forward commitment/turnkey contracts, and collaboration agreements.
  • Lead a national high-profile team, providing top-tier legal services to an impressive list of major clients and panel appointments.
  • Drive business forward while playing a crucial role in the development and mentoring of team members, ensuring their career progression.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Legal qualification with at least 8 years of post-admission experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of the UK living sector and a track record of building and sustaining a practice in this area.
  • Demonstrated understanding of revenue prioritisation and the ability to innovate and improve processes.
  • Effective coaching skills, providing a clear sense of direction and purpose to the team.
  • Recognised external profile as a leader in the residential development field.
  • Understanding of the delivery of legal services in a top 20 law firm environment.
